Camping at Papamoa
This year I headed off to Papamoa Beach for our annual camping trip without Nige. Two days prior Nige flew to Los Angeles to attend his Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) class and was away from New Zealand for 12 days.
My niece, Jessie, came with me to Papamoa and we had two neat days together on our own before the rest of Jessie's family arrived. In this photo Jessie was calling her parents to let them know we had arrived safely. You might be wondering how Jessie and I might be able to put up the tent by ourselves . . . well, my good hubby txt a few friends already camping at Pacific Park and asked them to help me get the tent up. I'm thankful for friends!
Me and Jessie.
Two days later the rest of the Henderson family arrived at Pacific Park and set up on the site next to me.
Natalie and I enjoy a little sister outing together each year and we go get ourselves a pedicure. This year we both chose pink polish, which you can just make out at the bottom of picture. It was funny this year at the campground . . . I'd have people chatting to the me around camp and then they'd realise half way through the conversation that it wasn't me they'd been talking to earlier but rather Natalie, and vice versa. Funny!
