The day before I headed to Papamoa Nige flew out to Los Angeles to attend one of his D.Min classes at The Master's Seminary. Two weeks later he arrived back in New Zealand and my Mum, who was having a little holiday of her own at our house, picked Nige up from Napier Airport.

Nige's flight from Los Angeles was 90 minutes late arriving into Auckland which meant it was going to be pretty tight catching his flight down to Napier. The lady at the domestic check-in counter in the international terminal told Nige that he could make the flight if he ran all the way over to the domestic terminal - a ten minute run. Well, on the way Nige's luggage trolley hit a hole in the road and his two suitcases and laptop bag fell off the trolley and Nige went over the top of it all. He ended up with a big egg bruise on his right shin and ripped the knee on his brand new jeans and got a graze on his left knee. He hurt his wrist a little bit too. We are very thankful it wasn't more serious!

That night Nige and Mum went to eat dinner at Cafe Anatolia - a favourite of our's.

Chicken Escander - with BBQ and mint sauces, and no hummus.
