Looking out the Gordon's front door. When I arrived five days earlier all the grass and the houses were covered in snow. While I was there they had some sunshine which melted it. The Gordon's hadn't seen the sun for several weeks so they were enjoying the warmth of the sun. It's so different having to live with snow. Fun for my visit though!
Look at how tall the kids all are! This was at the airport heading back to Los Angeles. My plane was late leaving because of delays in Chicago where I was stopping to change planes. The weather was making it difficult for planes to depart. Even when we arrived in Chicago air space we had to circle over for about 30 minutes until there was a slot for us to land.
And here's what Chicago looked like as we were coming in to land! It was snowing when we landed on the ground. Before my next flight could take off they even had to de-ice the wings, which was basically a huge waterblaster.
