This was a little something special from the chef because we were celebrating our anniversary. I can't remember what it was called but it was some kind of seafood deep fried in some kind of pastry, served with hot chili sauce. It was very nice.
The entrée/appetizer (depending which country you're in) that we shared: Pan Seared 'Marlborough Sound' salmon with Lemon Citrus Crust & Fresh Salsa
Nige's main dish: Roast Fillet of Beef with Potato Au Gratin, Beef & Onion Ragout, Roasted Summer Vegetables, Mixed Garden Herb Foam & Pinot Jus
My main dish: Pan Fried Stuffed Chicken Breast, Peach Corn Salsa with Gratin Potato 'Tabacco' Onions & Vegetable Jus
Nige's dessert: The Ultimate Banana Split, Wood Fired Banana, Three Flavors Ice Cream,Chocolate Chips, Hot Fudge Sauce, Whipped Cream & Cherry on top
My dessert: Hot Chocolate Fondant, Salted Caramel, Vanilla, Jaffa Ice Cream
