makai beach

Having friends who live on Oahu, we got insider tips for quieter beach locations.  Makai Beach is located over by the pier in the background.

The pier.  It seemed familiar to me . . . from watching a Magnum PI episode sometime in the last few years.

So since I recognized the pier, I checked out online where Robin Master's Estate was, and it was less than a mile down the road from the beach we were at.  This is the building where Magnum lived.

This is where Higgins lived.  It was all a bit overgrown on the roadside, but fun to find and peek through the bushes.
