On Monday night I put up our Christmas village . . . at the prompting of my husband (yah! I'm so glad Nige enjoys Christmas decorations too!). When Nige was in Los Angeles in January he bought me the pieces on the middle shelf and the three lighted pieces on the bottom shelf for a grand total of US$20! What a deal!! We thought we'd get the Christmas decorating done a little earlier than usual this year because of quite a busy time coming up next month. At first I told Nige it was way too early but now that I've started I'm so glad that the process has begun.
