Christmas Day at the Domain

This year our family did something different for Christmas - we did a picnic at a local park.  I think there were aspects of the day that we liked and some we didn't.  It was a little cold at times but for the most part the day was very enjoyable!

We (Keith, Michelle, Nige and I) kind of cheated on the 'picnic' idea and bought a couple of roast lamb meals at 'Deli Roasts' the day before, brought a microwave with us and heated up our roast meal at the domain - funny aye!

The Hendersons actually camped at the domain for a couple of nights so they were totally in picnic/camping mode.

Alan and Florence found a nice sheltered spot beside one of the cars.

Mum, Pete and Gavin had the usual, grand Chrissy style picnic - even more special because it was Christmas!

The Hautapu's - Jamie, Roanne, Fletcher and Quinn were nicely colour co-ordinated for the special day!

Mum organised a piñata for the kids . . . but most of us big kids had a turn too!  Lots of fun and lots of lollies.

Daniel got a couple of poppers from the piñata but we all were a bit nervous as to where he was pointing it when he popped the lid on them . . . hence the look on my Mum's face!  hehe  :)
