After church the first Sunday, we headed off to Starbucks for a coffee. I went to Starbucks several more times during my stay and enjoyed several hours of reading, oh and a few Frappuccinos too!
Nat and I went off on our annual pedicure and afternoon together. Always fun!

Long time friends from Rotorua came over and visited with me one afternoon. It had been a while since I'd seen them, and had never met Sabrina, so it was lovely to catch up. Nige was still in LA and the Hendersons were away for the day so I had them all to myself! :)
Once Nige arrived in Papamoa we enjoyed a few games of cards with Phil and Nat once the kids were all tucked in at night.
Natalie is left-handed and its always amusing watching her sort out her cards into a secure holding position!
Nige is a well-practiced player - well, he should be since its the 'Shailer family' game we always play (Sets and Straights).
Phil quickly flicked his cards around and I happened to take the photo at just the right time!
Nige said I looked cute sitting here at the table in my low chair, but really he was chuckling at how short my arms looked. I guess they are short compared to his. Oh well . . . :)
