Dinner at Breakers Restaurant in Taupo with Michelle Ward and Josh Powell.
Nige crossing the finish line after a 100km (about 62 miles) from Rotorua to Taupo. Nige did the race in 3 hours, 26 minutes.
It was Nige's first time doing the
Rotorua 100km Flyer and he really enjoyed it. I'm guessing he'll be doing it again next year to try and beat his time (which he was very happy with this year).
After the race Nige biked back to the house where we were all staying, showered and then we came back for prizegiving.
Lots of spot prizes were drawn but it wasn't Nige's year for coming away with a prize. I was hoping he'd win the Suzuki scooter!!
Later that evening we played Balderdash with Josh and Michelle. I hadn't laughed so hard for a long time!
