goodbye friend . . . for a while

Today was one of our receptionist's last day in the church office.  Verity and her hubby, Reuben, are flying to Los Angeles on Wednesday where Reuben will be a student at The Master's Seminary.  Verity has been working part-time in the church office this last year and she has been a joy to have in the office for all of us who work there.  Our paths will cross again very soon though, as I'll be in Los Angeles myself next week.  Verity and I, and another friend from Riverbend will all be there and the three of us will be attending the Women Discipling Women conference together.
