On our last full day in New York we caught the subway down to Lower Manhattan and found our way to the walkway that led across the Brooklyn Bridge. The walkway was in the middle of the bridge with car lanes below us to our left and right.

We decided to take the subway back to Manhattan. It was great to have walked across the bridge but with the humidity we were ready for some air conditioning again!
