the new guy

Tony Page (yes! that's Tony!) arrived one afternoon this week to go for a ride with Nige and we nearly didn't recognise him . . . coz he'd shaved his beard off.
The guys have got their spikes back on their helmets because the magpies are in protective mode again to care for their young, and are a danger to cyclists.  The spikes help!
