backyard critters

At the top of the brick wall, to the right of the tree, is a coyote pup which we have spotted in the backyard twice since we've been here.

It's a little hard to see, but sitting half way up the brick wall, where the pink flowers are, is a black and gray bobcat!

Nige was actually in the pool (after having been for a bike ride) and suddenly noticed he had company, so quickly exited the pool!  In this photo, the bobcat is just above the greenery.  Apparently there is a mountain lion around at the moment too, but we're yet to see him in the backyard.  Oh boy . . . I hope we don't see him!
