fun in los angeles

Driving South on the 2 Freeway, with downtown Los Angeles in view . . .
. . . Nige and I went up to Griffith Park Observatory.  It was a lovely evening and we enjoyed the walk and the view (see the Hollywood sign in the background?)
The Observatory.
Downtown Los Angeles.
Beatrice Major has arrived in Los Angeles ready to start school soon at The Master's College.  I was able to take her out for the afternoon.  First stop was Forest Lawn Glendale - primarily a cemetery but also has museum exhibits.  This big hall behind us is the Crucifixion Resurrection Hall with two HUGE paintings - well worth a visit!  And it's FREE!
Then we went down to The Americana on Brand in Glendale.  A fun place that Nige and I like visiting.
