The day after we flew in from Texas we drove a couple hours South to Oceanside, CA and met up with Chris Mueller.

After dinner we went along to one of the classes that Chris and his associate pastor, John, teach at their church's training school. It was neat to hear the Chris and John incorporating the practical side of everyday church ministry alongside the teaching of the academics of the Bible.
The next morning Nige and I took a stroll out on this pier
and came across these pelicans. They were BIG!
At the end of the pier is Ruby's Diner, where we had a nice cooked breakfast. The diner had a 50's theme, which was pretty cool. Usually when we eat out for breakfast I have a Denver Omelette - which just has ham, onion, red/green peppers and cheese in it. Nige usually goes for French Toast. Both are delicious!
