day three at disneyland

On Keith, Jason and Wendy's third and last day at the Disneyland Resort, we started at Disneyland first and rode the King Arthur Carrousel together.
Then we headed over to Toon Town to visit Mickey Mouse . . .
and then Minnie Mouse, who lives next door.
This was Mickey's house.  We were able to walk through both Mickey's and Minnie's houses and see all sorts of fun things.
After Toon Town we separated for a few hours to explore on our own.  Keith and I stopped in at Starbucks on Main Street for a cup of tea for Keith, and a Frappuccino for me.
While at Starbucks we did FaceTime with Nige who was back at home, working.
Before we left home that day, Keith had said he wanted a relaxing day at Disneyland.  I think we understand the word "relaxing" differently, because when I asked him what he'd like to do on his "relaxing" last day at Disneyland, he gave me a list of all the roller coasters!  LOL :)   So the first stop was Astro Orbitor.
Then it was on to the Matterhorn Bobsleds.
We got him a Fastpass for Space Mountain to come back later in the day, so the wait wouldn't be so long.
Then we did some rides together, beginning with Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Next was Pirates of the Caribbean.
We had lots of fun shooting for points at Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.
Then we boarded the Sailing Ship Columbia - a full-scale replica of the first American ship to sail around the world.
Then we met up with Jason and Wendy to watch the parade.  We got awesome seats, reserved for those using wheelchairs, which Wendy was doing due to swollen feet.  Keith and I enjoyed a Frozen Pineapple Dole Whip during the parade - a dairy-free pineapple snow freeze - delicious and refreshing!
After the parade we all headed over to Disney's California Adventure to enjoy two more rides before heading home.  Jason and Wendy discovered Mater's Junkyard Jamboree in Cars Land, a ride which Nige and I had not done before, and it was FUN!

Our last ride for the day was Radiator Springs Racers, also in Cars Land.  We joined the Single Rider line, which means we don't get to ride together but the wait is shorter.  Keith is holding on tight to his hat!
On the way home, we stopped at In-N-Out Burgers for dinner . . .
and Keith tried Animal Fries - one of In-N-Out's secret menu items.  After the fries are cooked, they place sliced cheese on top and grill it till it melts, then they add grilled onions and their sauce that goes in the burgers.  It all looks pretty tasty!
