I took the girls who are new at TSBC this year out for coffee to Missionview Gardens over in Napier. It was a lovely morning but definitely crisp and we needed the lap blankets that the cafe provide. It's a beautiful setting at this cafe even in the winter. It'll be even better in the summer!
It's great being around the new students and their wives. They're eager to learn and eager to serve in the church and it's so encouraging for the church body at Riverbend. It also brings back memories of our time at seminary in Los Angeles - meeting lots of new people, trying to fit in to a new church, the financial hardships of being a student and the blessings of seeing God provide for us during those years. We have much to be thankful for!
