Frankfort, KY

I have arrived safely in Frankfort, Kentucky. I left NZ Tuesday afternoon, flew to Sydney, and then on to Los Angeles (17.5 hours). I was praying for an empty seat next to me on the plane and the Lord answered my prayer and gave me so much more! The plane was half empty and I was able to have 3 seats to lie down on. I had about 7 hours of sleep! Awesome! The next morning after a night at the Sheraton LAX I headed back to the airport for about 5 more hours of flying time (via Chicago) to Louisville, KY. My flight arrived in Louisville at 9:30 pm. Tania and Rachel met me at the airport and then we had an hour's drive to their home in Frankfort.
Here's Mark and Tania, Anna Marie and Rachel with all the goodies from NZ I brought over for them (on behalf of all who bought the items). They were very excited about all the NZ lollies and marshmellow Easter eggs etc!
This is the view from their front door. The high temperature for today is -1oC!
Tania and I went out for brunch to Panera Bread this morning. I had a decaf mocha and blueberry bagel with cream cheese . . . Mmmm :)
This is the townhouse that the Gordon's live in . . .
and here is Matthew with the snowman that Rachel and Joel made . . . well, Matthew tells me they borrowed the rolled up balls the neighbour's kids made to make this snowman. His eyes were made of peas but that didn't work and I guess they fell out, and the smile has dropped a little bit. Fun to see a snowman though! :)
