This poor bird is sitting in our fire box. I'm thinking he thought he'd found a nice place to build a nest . . . in the top of our chimney, but sadly he fell down into the chimney and then couldn't get out. So we opened the firebox door and eventually he flew out. Thankfully he didn't sprinkle too much ash on the carpet as he flew out of the house!
