A Very Special Celebration!

20 October 1960 was Keith's first day of work on the Ohakea Air Force base, working for Ministry of Works.  Fifty years later, and at age 71, Keith is still working full time at Ohakea, but now he works for Transfield Services.  A special morning tea was held in Keith's honor and the Transfield boss and also the Ohakea Base Commander attended.

This letter to Keith is from the Royal New Zealand Air Force Chief of Air Force, Graham Lintott, recognising Keith's 50 years of service.  Very special!
This is a photo of the Ministry of Works crew back in 1969 - the same year Nige was born.  Keith is in the middle row, 4th from the right.
And the family . . . L-R: Jason, Wendy, Keith, Nige and I.
