Keith flies in a Harvard

Nige's Dad, Keith, was recently surprised by his bosses at Transfield where he works at Ohakea Airforce Base, by being taken for a flight in a Harvard.  In October 2010 Keith celebrated 50 years of working on the Ohakea Airforce Base, and prior to his last day of work on 30 June 2011 this surprise flight was organised for him.  At morning tea it was announced to Keith and his co-workers that they were to report to Hanger One promptly at 1:00 pm.  That was all they were told.  Then at 12:30 pm Keith's boss came to get him and take him over himself.  Keith said he'd go to his job first as he still had time, and then would come over at 1pm.  He said, 'no, come with me because we need to get you suited up'.  Keith knew what that meant so very excitedly went with his boss.

Off they go!  He was flown down to Foxton Beach, and then over his house in Foxton, and then they flew over the State Highway following the route Keith travelled to work for the last almost 51 years.
He was all smiles when he got back!
What a treat for a long and faithful worker!
