putting our tour guide hats on

After Sports Camp finished we took Brent to see a little of New Zealand.  We stayed in Taupo and did a day trip to Rotorua.  Nige took him to Te Puia (the Maori village and where the biggest geysers in NZ are) and then three of us went up the gondola and did the luge - which was a lot of fun!
We also stopped at Huka Falls.
This is another view of the falls - so pretty!
The next day we went to Waitomo Glow Worm Caves.  This is the cave opening where our boat exited the caves from the little tour we did.  It was great to go to the caves but it made for a long day of driving.  In the map below we went from A to B, back to A and then home to C (Hastings) - about six hours of driving . . . and six hours of time to chat.

After three more nights with us back in Hastings, and Brent spending time with Riverbend Bible Church and Hastings Christian School youth, he then went down to Heretaunga Christian Centre in Wellington to be a part of their Sports Camp team's presentation evening, and preach at the church Sunday morning before flying home to LA to be reunited with his family.
