getting around los angeles

Here we are driving on the 405-South.  There had been an accident on the 405-North and the traffic was backed up, literally for miles.

On the 110 freeway, approaching downtown Los Angeles.  We had just picked up Josh and Michelle Powell from LAX, after they had flown in from Nevada (via Phoenix).

On our way from LAX to Newhall (well, it was a little bit of a detour) we parked at the Universal City Metrolink and caught the train to Hollywood and Highland so these guys could see the stars on the sidewalk and the hand prints in the concrete at Mann's Chinese Theatre.  We've found that the subway is a GREAT way to go down to Hollywood - its easier to get a park at the Metrolink than down in Hollywood!
