These stacks of books on Nige's desk are the ones he's making his way through each night, making notes in each in preparation for writing his dissertation. He's about two thirds through them and has three weeks to read through the rest as we don't have room for the books when we travel to the US in three weeks. A friend from church is then typing up all he underlines in the books so that he can refer to it when writing his dissertation.
