room available again

Later on Wednesday after Mum and Pete left to go further north, Keith arrived.  He too would be heading further north but wanted to come see us before we leave for the US.  So we took the opportunity to have a birthday dinner for him since we'll be away on his birthday next month.
The birthday 'cake' was really Pavlova.
Prezzie time!  Actually he's already wearing some of his birthday gift - the shirt and vest.  Doesn't he look smart!
Keith's little car isn't used to getting frost all over it, seeing it's usually in his garage overnight.
A few days later we received a call from Dad and Margaret, asking if they could come stay Saturday night.  They came to watch the grandkids play soccer and netball, and as they hadn't stayed with us before decided it was time to do so.  We had a lovely visit with them, watching Jacob play soccer in the rain, over lunch together, and then breakfast Sunday morning before they headed back to Palmerston North via Taihape so they could go over the Gentle Annie road.  While Nige headed off to church, I headed back to bed as I'd woken with a migraine that gave me a heavy and cloudy head, along with dizziness, rather than actually giving me any pain.  After a few more hours sleep the dizziness left but the cloudy head stayed most of the day.
