a surprise visit to the manawatu

I found out earlier in the week that my Dad was going to be test driving his new race car - that he built himself! - down at Manfield Park in Feilding.  So I called Dad's wife, Margaret, back the next day to find out the details and see if I could go down and surprise him.  Well, it worked!  He was VERY surprised - yah :)

One very happy chappy!  The test drives went very smoothly, it was a beautiful day, and Dad had three spectators - his wife, his daughter, and his nephew Graeme.  Well done, Dad!
