Keith, Jason and Wendy were able to get amazing priced tickets to fly to Los Angeles, but the downside was that they'd have to fly Wellington-Sydney-Los Angeles, making it about 16 hours of flying instead of 12 hours when flying direct from Auckland to Los Angeles.

We went straight from LAX to Santa Monica
to see the Pier
and Third Street Promenade, where we stopped for tea and coffee, to warm ourselves up on this overcast and cloudy day.
Then we headed to Murrieta - a two hour drive from Santa Monica. I think Jason and Wendy were just a tad tired!
