a little photo shoot

 

Back at the end of August Nige was the guest speaker at Pathway Bible Church's family retreat.  The retreat was at Port Hueneme, near Oxnard, CA.  Before our last lunch together, Jennifer, the pastor's wife very kindly slipped away with us for a quick photo shoot.

I like these photos of us on the sand, but boy, were those little plants prickly on my legs!  :)

While we were posing for the camera and a big wave came up and totally wet the back of us!

Drenched!  Haha  :)

Good thing the front of us didn't get wet too, and we were able to keep taking photos.

One of those little rocks hit my heel and caused a bit of discomfort.  But it was worth it - Jen caught some fun shots of us.

And this is the photo we chose for our Christmas card this year.
