While we were staying with the Lodens, we came across this Armadillo on their road.  After a few days, and it was STILL there Larry stopped, backed up and Nathanael got out and took this photo on my phone for me.  They are a curious animal, with a hard leathery shell.  Eventually this little guy's insides were eaten and 8 days later all that was left on the road was his shell.  Interesting.  I found a video on YouTube of a live Armadillo - click here to view.
