The following Sunday we headed back to Kingsburg, to Grace Church of the Valley. We had driven up early the previous Sunday to hear Scott preach and then hung out in Kingsburg until Cory and Kristine's wedding.
Scott had invited Nige to preach, since he was going to be out of town speaking at another church's retreat. It was neat to visit two weeks in a row and meet some of the people there. Afterwards we went to lunch with Patty Ardavanis and three of her girls, and the youth pastor and his wife and kids. After lunch we were able to visit with Patty in their home. Patty is hoping to come to Impact Bible Conference in 2013 with Scott, and we are praying for this too! It was 1991 when she was last here! After a lovely catch-up with Patty we got back on the road and settled in for the three hour drive back to Sun Valley.
This is a dairy farm we passed on the way. Quite different to a New Zealand dairy farm.
